Entrust Women's Ministries

/files/Images/Ministries/WWLT/Photos/WM 002.jpgEntrust recognizes that the number of women in local churches is significant—even overwhelming—in some parts of the world.  They represent both an essential resource for the Kingdom of God and a serious pastoral responsibility.  Women impact women in multiple ways and our Entrust women are making a difference through Training, Outreach, Service and Discipleship.

Objective
Under the authority of local church and in support of it, spiritually mature women are needed to contribute to the healthy life and growth of the body of Christ, serving and shepherding other women to maturity, according to the biblical pattern found in Titus 2:3-5:

"Older women are likewise to be reverent in their behavior,
not malicious gossips, nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,
that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands,
to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home,
kind, being subject to their own husbands,
that the Word of God may not be dishonored."

Titus 2:3-5

As we seek to impact women in our various fields, we recognize that Christ’s command regarding discipleship is not optional.  Women will impact women in their worlds and how they do so will be greatly affected by their maturity in the faith.  We labor in training, outreach and service to bring each one to the fullness of Christ according to His command:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I
commanded you..."

Matthew 28:19-20

Outreach

In some fields our work begins with reaching unreached women with the gospel.  This includes ministries to women in all walks of life; from refugees, to gypsies, to women involved in embassies representing various countries.  Sharing the power of God through Christ and the impact of women worldwide provides a personal touch with the challenges facing women in various cultures of the world.

/files/Images/Ministries/WWLT/Photos/WM 003.jpgCentral to these works is our basic value that women impact women and make a difference in their worlds. Seeing women come to Christ and begin to discover their gifts and take part in the broader kingdom purposes of God transform the lives of women from every culture.

We have seen when women discover the Bible to be relevant and practical for living in most difficult and challenging circumstances they discover personal dignity and experience life transformation.  Women who have never studied the Bible seriously become enthusiastic and growing believers who in turn impact their own families, congregations, and communities.

Serving

Historically women have impacted their worlds is in the area of service. Many of our Entrust women serve others in practical, daily ways that allow for life-on-life mentoring and discipleship.

Their example of creativity in outreach and service broadens our opportunity to discover potential women whom God would call to be trained to shepherd others in their local situations. Serving opens doors to evangelism, discipleship and training.

Discipleship

There are various small discipleship groups led by Entrust women. Women investing in women, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ through Bible study and accountability within the intimacy of the small group. The goals are spiritual maturity, healthy participation in their local church and discipling others. This process encourages women to develop into trainers of trainers, passing on what they have received. This commitment to mentor individuals in their spiritual formation is following Christ's model with his disciples.
