Transformation leading to Multiplication
Encouraging, Equipping and Empowering Global Ministry Leaders
Hub coordinatorPatricia (Trish) L. Barrett was born in West Virginia and graduated from Concord College in Athens, W.V., with a teaching degree. She came to Christ in her home church and grew in her faith during college through Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru). After college, she served with Cru’s Agape Movement, teaching in Kenya for two years. A mission focus has always been a large part of her calling, whether going or helping others to go.
After returning from Kenya, Trish married her college sweetheart. They moved frequently, living in many different states, an experience which taught Trish to depend on God and not on circumstances. That marriage ended in divorce in 2008.
Trish received a master’s degree from Bethel Seminary in San Diego in 1996 in Christian Education. She has taught as adjunct faculty for Bethel Seminary San Diego and Bethel Seminary of the East, Metro DC (which closed in 2014). She also taught at Nyack DC and, in 2014, she received a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Spirituality from the Ecumenical Institute affiliated with St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore. She makes her home in Baltimore.
Trish sees her gift mix and calling to missions, as well as her experiences in teaching and mentoring women, as meshing well with Entrust. She praises God for the opportunity to introduce others to Entrust’s Women-to-Women Ministry training through the new Mid-Atlantic Hub.
FacilityWomen-to-Women Ministry Training in the Mid-Atlantic region will be held in 2017 in Marriottsville, Maryland, which is just 25 minutes outside of Baltimore. The facility is the beautiful Bon Secours Retreat and Conference Center (www.RCCBONSECOURS.COM). At this facility all meals are included and every person has an individual room. There are wonderful meeting rooms, a chapel, bookstore, pool, labyrinth, and many other amenities.
