Transformation leading to Multiplication
Encouraging, Equipping and Empowering Global Ministry Leaders
Hub coordinatorSherri Carlson serves as the Switzerland hub coordinator. She was blessed to grow up in a Christian family with wonderful Sunday School teachers and youth leaders who drew her into the word of God. The Lord continues to shape and mold her through varied experiences, especially the daily challenges of living overseas.
Sherri and her family lived for nearly 16 years in Italy, where they were blessed to plant churches, disciple many people and cast a vision for church planters among Italian leaders. They now live in the Czech Republic, work with a church plant, and are involved in evangelizing and discipling. Sherri’s passion is to see women grow in their walk with Christ, discover their gifts and multiply themselves in the lives of others.
Sherri is married and has two daughters in university in the States and one with her in the Czech Republic.
FacilityThe Switzerland hub is located at a facility known as Kilchzimmer, the European headquarters of Child Evangelism Fellowship. Kilchzimmer is located in the Jura Mountains, about 45 minutes from Basel. The centuries-old building is situated in a lovely location, surrounded by mountains with walking trails. Sometimes trainings occur in the midst of snow, other times the countryside is green. The setting truly lends itself to time with the Lord. Participants enjoy time off in a local city such as Basel or Lucerne, and of course, Swiss chocolate is always readily available! There are a few unique traditions at the Swiss hub. You have to join us to find out what they are!
HistoryEntrust has been holding training in Switzerland since 2007, making it the oldest hub. Trainings here are really an intercultural affair. Participants include women in full-time cross-cultural ministry, women in ministry in the U.S., and national women from Asia, Africa and Europe. It is truly a taste of heaven to experience all the different cultures and to worship the Lord together in different languages. All training, however, is held in English. Training is scheduled in March or April, depending on when Easter falls, and all four modules are offered.

“It was a very nice time in safe, loving environment. The time was well used and gives me many new ideas to my ministry. It was great that we had the opportunity to lead a group and practice it as a leader and also as a participant.”- Marie, Czech Republic
"“I thoroughly enjoyed the international flavour and exposure that this course time provided! The content was practical —but also very stretching — which is much needed! At the same time, I felt safe and cared for in the group! Thank you for the many years of hard work, prayer and planning that you’ve all put into this/these courses! God bless you!"- Jeanne-Marie, South Africa
“I believe this is a God-glorifying, Bible-centered, Spirit-led, helpful ministry! I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up, but I leave feeling encouraged, affirmed, challenged, cared for, & equipped with new skills that I can put into practice in the short & the long run. Thank you for your prayers, your availability, your pursuit of God & His plan for you, & for serving us in this ministry & throughout the week. The Lord met me in personal ways and also used you in many ways. May the multiplication continue!”- Kat, Bosnia
"The practical sessions where we were able to lead Bible study and then discuss methodology were the most meaningful. Not only were they practical in developing the necessary skills, but they were also spiritually rich and refreshing."- Beth, Croatia
“I like this place and the welcoming of the staff. The fact that it is a Christian center gave us an encouraging Christian environment that the Lord used also. Fellowship with the staff was another source of encouragement to me.”- Véronique, France
“God is using me in His purpose. He has a plan.”- Gwen, U.S.A.
“As a ‘preacher’s wife’ I have many opportunities to apply this material.”- Elizabeth, Macedonia.
