Transformation leading to Multiplication
Encouraging, Equipping and Empowering Global Ministry Leaders
Hub coordinators: Liz Loeffler & Amber Simpson
Liz grew up in Pennsylvania where she accepted Christ a very young age. She graduated from Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia Biblical University) with certificates in Biblical Studies and Advanced Church Ministries. After working as a secretary for Procter & Gamble for 14 years and administrative coordinator for 8 years at her home church, she set her sights on global missions.
In 1981, Liz smuggled Bibles behind the Iron Curtain on a short-term trip that lead to two more trips. In 1989 Liz joined Entrust’s staff full time while also being affiliated with Greater Europe Mission (GEM). She worked at Entrust’s European headquarters in Austria and traveled through Eastern Europe with their women’s ministry. In 1994, Liz moved to Moscow and served as Field Coordinator for Christian Women in Partnership Russia (CWPR) which was a cooperative effort of Entrust, East-West Ministries International, GEM and The Union of Baptists-Evangelicals of the Federation of Russia. CWPR continues today as a self-funded, indigenous training, with well over 100 fourth-generational trainings.
With the Russia work now led by nationals, Liz returned to the US in 2009 to serve as Project Administrator for Entrust’s Women-to-Women Ministry Training (WWMT) at the home office in Colorado Springs. In addition to her administrative duties, LIz serves on the WWMT leadership team and enjoys facilitating at Entrust’s hubs in the US and overseas as a certified lead facilitator.
Liz was an active member at Village Seven Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, facilitating women’s Bible studies until she moved in the summer of 2018 to Lancaster, PA where she attends Westminster Presbyterian Church. One thing is quite clear, Liz has NOT retired! Active as ever, she maintains many roles with Entrust’s WWMT and still enjoys facilitating globally.
Amber grew up in a Christian home, but struggled to differentiate between a religious lifestyle and a relationship with Jesus. She grew up frustrated with the emptiness, confusion and anger and decided to walk away from all religious convictions. During her college years, Amber studied philosophy, embraced atheism, and found many ways to escape her feelings.
After graduation Amber began to hear the gospel for the first time. Exhausted, heartbroken, and ready for new life, she trusted Jesus to pay the penalty of her sin and give her new life. She began to absorb the truth through the expository preaching at her church and discipleship relationships.
A few years later she began her studies at Dallas Theological Seminary to get grounded in a biblical and theological framework so she could share her faith with others. She met her husband, Ben at DTS and they lived in Texas for 17 years finishing degrees, starting a family, and beginning a career. Amber and Ben have 2 children, Madison (12) and Eli (10). As Professor of NT Studies at DTS, Ben has served at the Dallas, Houston, and DC campus training pastors to read Greek. Amber came on staff with Entrust in 2016 and serves as co-hub coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic hub and is a certified facilitator for WWMT. She enjoys facilitating Entrust courses in the local church and at Entrust hubs in the US and overseas.
