Mary M. Dean

Texas A&M University, College Station, B.S., 1979, M.S., 1986; Dallas Theological Seminary, M.A., 2006. Board member since 2019.

Mary put her trust in Christ the summer before her senior year in college. Never in her wildest dreams would she have imagined ending up in full-time ministry. Yet, after receiving a master’s degree in biochemical genetics and wanting to follow Christ and say yes to opportunities the Lord provided, that’s where she found herself. Mary served as director of women’s ministry at two Dallas area churches, including 13 years with Stonebriar Community Church. She went on to get her Masters in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. She also served with ministries including Moms in Prayer, Thrive Ministry and the Association of Women in Ministry Professionals. Mary has been facilitating Entrust courses for over 12 years. She and her husband Glenn have been married since 1980 and have two sons and three grandchildren.

“One of the first people Glenn and I supported right after we were married was an Entrust staff person. I became personally involved with Entrust as part of a team that traveled to Moscow, Russia for a long- term training project in partnership with the Russian Baptist Union. I have been involved with Entrust’s Women-to-Women-Ministry Training since about 1999, and have seen God use Entrust in the lives of many women in many parts of the world. What a privilege to be part of God’s kingdom work – work that will last for all eternity!”
