Vision realized

Norma, Entrust, Europe

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come; it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3)

One of the valuable lessons the Lord has taught me over the years is to wait, wait and wait for him. Five years of prayers and two years of meetings, discussions, tears, still more prayers and seeking godly legal advice are over. We are now blessed and thankful to introduce Land of Hope. We were approved by the government as a recognized NGO on July 1. I now possess the official documentation!

Land of Hope is a non-profit which will apply biblical, evangelical principles to help the local immigrant and refugee community physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Land of Hope’s human team is volunteers and trained personnel who combine their efforts and dedication to develop projects. We are a multicultural experienced team with a calling to help others.

What are we planning to do? Support, promote, organize and develop activities, projects and programs that benefit all types of people while encouraging social volunteering and teamwork. We want to collaborate with other organizations pursuing similar purposes. We will apply biblical story telling in all we do, a method which we can enable others to tell Bible stories to their families and friends.

What are our next steps? We need to find and secure a location, introduce ourselves to churches and visit with public officials to spread the word about who we are and what we have to offer.

It's the beginning of the fulfillment of a vision. We look forward to all that God has in store.
