Russia is one of Entrust’s oldest fields of service.
Key believers from Russia were among those who took part in the historic meeting in 1979 in Vienna, Austria, which led to the launch of Entrust. Early Entrust staff members traveled teaching circuits around this vast country, training and equipping pastors and church leaders in secret. Later, several Entrust staff moved into the country to serve on-site full-time.
Today, Entrust’s work here is carried out by an in-country couple whose primary focus is the highly felt need of marriage and parenting ministry and training, along with Christian counseling and another couple pouring teaching energies into a local church.
Women’s ministry training is carried out entirely by Russian women under the name National Women’s Training Ministry (NWTM).
