A changed life

One of our One Challenge workers recently shared a story from Indonesia that beautifully reflects the personal and transforming love of God.

Local believers invited our worker to pray for a man who was seriously ill and spiritually burdened. Soon, Christians across Indonesia and the U.S. began faithfully praying for him as well. Over the following weeks, they began to witness something remarkable — not only physical recovery, but deep spiritual renewal and restored hope.

The change in his life became impossible for those around him to ignore. As friends and neighbors saw the change, seven of his friends placed their faith in Christ and were later baptized. What began as a quiet moment of prayer in a small apartment became a testimony of God’s goodness reaching an entire community.

This story is a powerful reminder that in God’s kingdom, one changed life can become the beginning of many more.
