Stewardship Is About … RELATIONSHIPS!

Did you know that One Challenge’s primary donor-facing department is called Stewardship Ministries? That name is intentional. When many people hear the word stewardship, they naturally think about finances. While financial stewardship is certainly integral to our calling, our focus in Stewardship Ministries is cultivating Christ-centered relationships.
We don’t desire a one-way relationship where you simply support One Challenge. We want to walk alongside you through prayer, encouragement, and helping you discern where God is leading you. Just as we hope to encourage you, your faith, prayers, and partnership encourage our mission workers and us.
As we seek the Holy Spirit together and follow his leading, we have the privilege of participating in what God is already doing to expand his kingdom. In May, a group of long-time, faithful partners went on a vision trip and saw firsthand how God is at work in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.” — Psalm 145:4
Africa is the youngest continent in the world, with a median age of just 19 years, creating a remarkable opportunity for gospel impact! Those serving in Africa share a deep commitment to investing in the next generation.

Many communities live with the effects of poverty, unemployment, and economic hardship. But amid this hardship, the resilience of their faith shines. Leaders are passionately discipling young people, developing leaders, and bringing the hope of Christ across the region.
Join us in praise for these ongoing ministries in Africa:
Stepping Up to Her Place is seeing Christian women leading competently through their spiritual gifts. Women in South Africa are nearing graduation from this 2-year certificate program.
The Base community is discipling young people who, in turn, are learning to disciple others. They are making Christian community not just a Sunday morning routine, but integrated into their lives 24-7.
Brierly and Mackenzie are using farming, relationships, and everyday opportunities to impact lives with the gospel.
More than a Mile Deep desires to see the church in Africa (and beyond) grow both wider and deeper, by developing excellent training systems for pastors and leaders.
Through ZimNET, Charles and Nedson equip hundreds of pastors across Zimbabwe, strengthening churches and expanding the gospel into rural communities.
Praise the Lord for lasting gospel fruit across Southern Africa! It is the joy of Stewardship Ministries—and all of One Challenge—to partner with you!
August Is Wills & Estate Planning Month
One way we’d love to serve you is by offering complimentary estate planning through PhilanthroCorp. This service is available year-round for One Challenge ministry workers and donors. If this would be a benefit to you, we’d love to connect. Email TaraFox@oci.org.

“Our experience with PhilanthroCorp expanded our understanding of what estate planning could be. It wasn’t just about ticking a legal box; it became a more thoughtful, holistic process that helped us explore options we hadn’t even considered before.” – David and Deborah W.
